Automotive Service Mechanic (A, B, & C Level)

Full-Time | $23–$40 per hour (based on experience)
Honda/Acura experience preferred | Sign-on bonus available for the right candidate
Honda of Valley Stream is hiring experienced A, B, and C Level Service Mechanics to join our growing Service Department. We’re looking for motivated technicians who take pride in doing quality work, diagnosing issues correctly, and helping customers stay safe on the road.
If you’re a skilled technician with Honda experience and you’re ready for a steady shop with strong workflow, we’d like to meet you.
What You’ll Do:
• Perform maintenance and repair work on Honda and Acura vehicles (plus other makes as needed)
• Diagnose drivability, electrical, and mechanical concerns accurately
• Complete repairs according to manufacturer standards and dealership procedures
• Document work performed clearly on repair orders
• Communicate findings and recommendations to service advisors
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Support team goals by producing efficient, high-quality work
A, B, & C Level Expectations:
• A Tech: Advanced diagnostics, electrical, drivability, engine/transmission, complex repairs
• B Tech: Brakes, suspension, steering, cooling, general mechanical repairs, some diagnostics
• C Tech: Routine maintenance, oil changes, tires, inspections, light repair work
Requirements:
• Experience is required
• Honda/Acura dealership experience strongly preferred
• Strong diagnostic ability (especially for A and B Techs)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
• Professional attitude and team-first mindset
• ASE certifications are a plus (not required)
